Pressure blasting thin copings
To prevent perforating thin metal copings try, (1) holding tip of nozzle further away from
coping, (2) hold nozzle at an angle to coping, other than 90 degrees, (3) keep nozzle
moving , (4) holding the nozzle handle further back will allow you to more easily sweep
the abrasive across the surface of the coping.
Sectioning of dies
Be aware of which way the teeth of the saw blade are pointing, if they point back to the
handle that means that the saw will cut on the pulling stroke, if the teeth are pointing away
from the handle the saw will cut on the pushing stroke, determine what works best and be
consistent.
